CPE Credit Information

Delivery method

All courses are QAS self-study. Each course lists its recommended CPE credit, field of study, program level, prerequisites, and advance preparation on the course page.

Earning credit

  • Read the participant guide and complete the review questions.
  • Pass the final exam with a score of 70% or higher.
  • Download your certificate, which shows the course title, field of study, credits, delivery method, and completion date.

Course length

Recommended credit is based on the word count, review questions, and exam, following the AICPA/NASBA Statement on Standards for Continuing Professional Education Programs. One CPE credit equals 50 minutes.

Acceptance of credit

CPE credits are earned as you complete eligible courses. State boards of accountancy and other credentialing bodies have final authority on acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit; confirm your board’s rules before relying on any course for compliance.

Records

We keep records of course completion for at least five years. Your certificates are also stored in your compliance dashboard.
