Most CPE still feels built for a CPA in 2008: desktop-only, course-by-course pricing, and a “credit log” that’s really just a PDF list. CPE Options is built for the phone, the busy season, and the few spare minutes between meetings.

How courses work

Each course is self-study: read the participant guide, then pass the final exam with a score of 70% or higher to receive your certificate. Courses are developed with the AICPA/NASBA Statement on Standards for CPE Programs in mind. State requirements vary — confirm your board’s rules before relying on any course for compliance.
